Paramount Channel draws on the history of the fabled Paramount brand. Founded in 1912 by Adolph Zukor, his partner Jesse L. Lasky, and renowned director Cecil B. DeMille, Paramount Pictures is the oldest operating studio in movie history, and is the only studio still based in Hollywood., . Building on this 100 year old reputation for quality films, Paramount Channel was launched five years ago and has been rapidly expanding. The MENA version will be the twelfth Paramount Channel in the world, expanding the brand’s reach to more than 94 million households across nearly 100 countries.
